The laboratory has a wide range of geodetic equipment, which is currently used in geodetic works during staking out, erecting and monitoring construction and engineering facilities. In particular, the set of equipment includes:
- technical levels
- technical self-levelling levels,
- precise libell levels
- precise self-leveling levels
- other levels (coded / laser)
- mechanical optical theodolites
- electronic optical theodolites
- electronic total station class total stations
- laser rangefinders
The smaller equipment includes classic geodetic equipment for situational and distance measurements as well as instruments necessary for cartographic activities such as planimeters, quadratels, transversal scales, etc.
While studying subjects in the field of geodesy and cartography, students learn about the construction and operation of instruments, the methodology of making measurements with special attention paid to the problems of accuracy and measurement errors.
